Of all the words I speak in a day, I think I overuse this one the most:



I didn't used to say this one the most, but I find myself feeling this word the most here lately.

I am not abashed, backward, blushful, blushing, chary, confused, constrained, coy, demure, diffident, embarrassed, humble, modest, nervous, overmodest, recoiling, reserved, reticent, retiring, self-conscious, self-effacing, shamefaced, shrinking, shy, silent, timid, timorous, or unassertive.

I am, however, sheepish.
