melliesbday

I have been such a neglectful butt face to any loyal Infamous Dance readers that may still exist. School/work/internship/KVRX/Institute/Church/sleep has started to take its toll on my free time. But I promise I will keep ol' Infamous Dance alive. I PROMISE. It was really close to being taken down (I was annoyed I had to pay for my domain name, but then I realized it was only once a year, just February happened to be that once a year), but luckily Juan made a comment to save it! (See previous post!)

I changed the look of the site, mostly in order to instill a revival of attention to my website. I decided I am only going to post black and white photos to go along with the motif. We'll see how it goes.

Mellie and Yanneth's birthdays were this month!! Here's 3 of the 928374923874 pictures from Mellie's Birthday:

At Halcyon- Katie, Fiona, Mellie, Yanneth, Me:

At Fado- Jimmy, Premal, Mellie, Fiona, Me, Yanneth, and Sebastian:

Me, performing the theme of the night (don't ask me how it got started):

I cannot believe this semester is almost halfway over. I have a bunch of (real) employment leads- mostly all production companies. One in Nashville, TN and three here in the ATX. The UT College of Communication Career Fair is coming up, too. I am somewhat dismayed, however, because the nicest suit that I have now looks really frumpy (believe it or not, I have lost 15 pounds or so since January).

GO SOUTH BEACH!!

posting

It has been so long since I posted on this thing.

Life is moving fast.

I may have a production job in Nashville.

If anyone reads this, I may post again.

ghostlandobservatoryomg

I SMELL SO BAD RIGHT NOW.

I just got home from seeing Ghostland Observatory (!) with my girls (minus 2)!! I swear, the lead singer, Aaron Behrens, is the most perfect specimen of physical male since Adam. I am thoroughly convinced.

I have 384983274897 pictures (okay, okay, 20). I had a video too, proving his ridiculous level of hotness, but I had to delete it so I would have enough room on my memory card to have a picture taken of him and I together! Yesssss....

I guess I'll just update this post when I get the pics up.

------------EDIT------------

Ok, I am clean and smelling better now. Nice. Here is a link to the pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/zachmorrisishot/tags/ghostlandobservatory/

Man. The Arm was really good, too. I only got one pic of those dudes. I am sad that my memory card in my camera is lame. I need another gig of space at least! I got this really sexy video of Aaron Behrens dancing, but I had to delete it in order to get a picture of him and I together- I would say it was worth it, but I really am thinking it totally wasn't.

Stephen also came into town to visit last night (there's some pics of him, Adam and Drew on Flickr, too). Seeing him always depresses me. Actually, that came out totally wrong. Seeing him makes me extremely happy, which, in turn, depresses me. Pinche girls.

mynewcamera

Okay kids. Thanks to the government giving us some of our money back and my good sale luck on Craigslist, I got a sexy new camera! Here are some of my experimental photos; my favorite feature is the color accent thing- you can select a color in the frame and then isolate that color and make everything else black and white. Awesome!

Oh, and before you criticize my photos- I don't wear makeup anymore (except on Sundays).

Tried to bring out the green in my eyes; didn't work.

My brother David, his wife Julie, their son Dawson (and their embryo!) left this rose on my windshield last Sunday at Church. The color accents (red and green, obviously) worked really well.

And this was my last attempt at it; down-time at the Hut.

I love my new camera! My internship at Ventana Del Soul asked me to be in charge of photography (in addition to radio and live recording), so it made for a nice excuse to expedite the purchase process! So no, Jason, the Infamous Dance isn't dead.

Today was a good day: pay day, Fiona treated me to a pedicure (I had helped her with something), Mellie visited me at work, tomorrow is Yanneth's birthday, Katie and I's house is clean, I don't have much homework, I have next weekend off, Stephen might be visiting, I might be set apart in a new calling, me and Anna's show is going well, etc. etc. etc. (I am sure you are part of my good things list too, I just forgot!)

labarumandanna

Introducing my co-host and newest friend: Anna Anderson. (Good name, right?)

This picture was taken by either Kate, Kim, or Natalie during our first go at "Labarum for the Latter-day."
