havenotupdatedinforever

Well. Hello again, Infamous Dance.

I had been on a (relatively) long hiatus from updating- no reason in particular, I guess.

So, the last post talks about my schedule- that has changed. I dropped the Sociology class on The Family, and am now doing an internship for UT credit. I work at Ventana Del Soul on Oltorf (nice place, ya'll should go check out the little cafe downstairs). I am their audio producer/sound designer- every Saturday night, they have these Austin-City-Limits-style concerts. I record them, interview the band members, then form all of that into an audio program for broadcast. All I have done so far is learn how to make stuff in the cafe (the concerts don't start for a couple of weeks).

I also have not shared with you loyal readers (if you're still there, considering I haven't posted in a while) that I have a new show and new time slot on KVRX. "Labarum for the Latter-day", starring my new friend Anna and myself, is on at 7:30pm on Wednedsay evenings. If you're LDS, know some Mormons, or are curious, check the show out. We put a lot into it, and this show makes me really happy. You can also call in at (512) 495-KVRX.

This semester will be crazy- internship at Ventana Del Soul, 12 credit hours at University of Texas, classes at the Institute of Religion, working for pay at Sunglass Hut, DJ/community programming at KVRX, and I just got a new calling/job at Church. Since it's not official yet, I will leave what exactly I will be doing a secret for now! But, it is definitely exciting.

Whew! Listing that out is somewhat exhausting. But, I am really happy- things couldn't be better in my life- I feel good about myself, I am pretty sure God feels good about me, and I have good friends. What more could I want, right?

Actually! I thought of something! Valentine's Day is coming up. I need a Valentine, so if anyone is willing/able to be my boyfriend starting at midnight February 14 and ending at 11:59pm that evening, it would be much appreciated.
